⭐SETUP
Tell us what general look, feel, and subject matters you prefer, and we’ll generate endless ready-to-publish posts for you to review and approve for circulation. You can also choose which jobs are a priority to publish first.
Let’s get started!
● Choose your logo and colors
HireSocial will integrate these into the branded graphics we create for you. Click the Account icon in the top right > select Logo & colors:
Navigate to Posts for the rest of your setup options:
From here, you can:
● Create or edit post topics
Post topics determine the content we make for the text part of your posts. Each topic uses material from your career site, ATS, or manual inputs to generate suggested post text. Add, edit, disable, or delete topics anytime.
● Pick the style of your branded graphics
Branded graphics are the images we create for your posts. In this section, you can choose the style of your graphics and hide the ones you don’t want used.
● Add your own media
Upload what you’d like, and we’ll use it in post suggestions.
● Add hashtags
One hashtag will be automatically included in each of our post suggestions.
After selecting the general look and feel of your posts, get more specific:
● Approve, edit, and/or dismiss posts for circulation
Once you like the look, feel, and content of your posts, you can start taking action by approving, editing, and/or dismissing material from the catalog of suggested posts we created for you.
- Each post is only used once per company profile, so make sure to approve enough to keep content flowing!
- View, edit, or delete your approved posts by going to the Publishing tab or selecting the “Approved to publish” button at the top of the Posts section.
- TIP: Don’t approve a post unless you’re happy with it publishing on any one of your connected Company or Recruiter pages
● Manage Jobs-topic posts
HireSocial auto-syncs with your ATS so we can link directly to a job on your career site from our posts. These special types of posts are filed under a pre-loaded topic called Jobs.
- Mark your priority jobs: Flag jobs that need the most attention with a star, and they will publish on Jobs-topic posts before un-starred jobs.
- Leverage auto-approved posts for Jobs-topic content to your company page: Go to the Jobs topic > Settings > Manage templates to turn this on or off.
⭐CONNECT
Go to the Publishing tab to connect your company social media profile(s), and expand your reach by connecting recruiter and employee profiles, too:
Each profile type (company, recruiter, employee) has its own posting privileges:
- Company profiles publish organic posts based on your topics, including Jobs.
- Recruiter profiles can publish organic Jobs topic posts based on their requisitions, and they can reshare posts by your company profiles.
- Employee profiles can reshare posts by company profiles to help amplify the message.
Connect company profiles directly; recruiters and employees join via an invite link. During the connection process, you will choose the posting schedule that can later be edited. Posting schedules for company profiles look something like this:
⭐MAINTAIN
Once everything is set up and publishing, stay on top of your account’s health by keeping up with your content, checking your connections, and reviewing performance. The maintenance tips below are divided by which area of the HireSocial dashboard they fall under so you know exactly where to go.
➡️ HOMEPAGE
- Visit your homepage for a quick overview of account health.
➡️ POSTS
- Keep the content flowing by approving more posts! Approved posts can publish to your company profile(s) a maximum of one time each, so make sure to periodically stock up.
- Update priority jobs to emphasize roles that need special attention.
- Revisit your Topics to add, edit, or remove content themes as needed.
➡️ PUBLISHING
- Visit the Publishing tab to see what’s already published and what’s approved to go out next. From this section, you can edit or delete scheduled posts.
- Create custom, manually scheduled posts. Do you want to build a post from scratch to publish on a specific date/time? Go to Publishing > Manually scheduled posts > Schedule a post and follow the steps.
- Keep profile connections in good health. Profiles get disconnected for many reasons, so it’s important to check their status routinely.
➡️ PERFORMANCE
- Review progress using the Performance section. Check your stats on things like the number of posts, clicks, top posts, leaderboards, and more.
➡️ ACCOUNT
- Add dashboard users or log out by going to your Account at the top right corner.
- Update your logo and colors as needed.
