The HireSocial Growth homepage provides an all-in-one snapshot of your account’s health and performance, guidance on what steps to take next, and live buttons to take you where you need to go. This article will familiarize you with the three sections of the homepage - Posts, Publishing, and Performance - including each section’s general makeup, notifications, and action items.

Go to the homepage at any time by clicking on the HireSocial icon at the top left of your screen:

The three blocks of the homepage - Posts, Publishing, and Performance - mirror the three main pillars of the dashboard. Clicking on any of those blocks takes you to its corresponding main page of the dashboard.

Jump to a section:

Posts

Keep the content flowing by referencing the Posts section to see if your “gas tank” of approved posts needs a top up! This block of information will tell you how many days of posts you have left, and it will give you visual and verbal warnings when your stockpile of approved content is running low. Click into it at any time to go to the Posts section of the dashboard to manage and approve more content.

You’ll see the Posts block in different states based on how many days of publishing remain. Note: This is determined by the social profile that will run out posts first (AKA the page that publishes content most frequently).

Empty state - 0 Days of posts:

When you have no approved posts (like during onboarding), you’ll see "0 days worth," an empty gas tank, and a "Start here" message to get you going.

Warning state - Fewer than 8 days of posts remaining:

When you have fewer than 8 days of approved posts remaining, you’ll see a yellow gas tank, warning icon, and messaging that you are running low on posts.

Normal state - 8 or more days of posts remaining:

When you have enough approved posts to keep things running smoothly for more than a week, your gas tank gauge will turn a relaxing green and there will be no additional messaging.

Regardless of what state your Posts section is in, you can click anywhere on that block to jump straight to the main Posts page to stay on top of your flow of content.

Publishing

This section displays the number of posts publishing this week, the total number of connected profiles, and which of the four available social platforms you’ve connected. Perhaps most importantly, the Publishing block of the homepage will provide verbal and visual queues to let you know when one of your company pages has lost its connection and is no longer publishing posts.

The Publishing block will be in various states depending on the connectedness of your profiles.

Empty state - 0 connected profiles:

When you have no profiles connected (like during onboarding), you’ll see "0 connected profiles" and "0 posts publishing this week," with a big, green button prompting you to connect a profile. Clicking this takes you to the Company Profiles tab of the main Publishing page to get started.

Warning state - 1 or more disconnected profile(s):

If one or more of your company profiles loses connection and stops publishing, you’ll see a warning icon, messaging about the lost connection, and a purple “Manage profiles” button to help you take action.

Note: Although recruiter and employee profiles are included in the total number of connected profiles, you will not get a warning message when one of them becomes disconnected; this warning only applies to company pages.

Normal state - All profiles connected:

When all your company profiles are actively connected and publishing, there will be no call to action and you’ll instead see four social profile icons at the bottom of the Publishing block. The bright, highlighted icons are the platforms that you’ve connected, and the dim icons indicate other potential platforms that you can connect to our automated post publishing in the future.

Regardless of what state your Publishing section is in, you can click anywhere on that block to jump straight to the main Publishing page where you can review and update your profile connections, approved content, and more.

Performance

Quickly track your results by checking out the Performance section, which shows how many candidates have visited your ATS or career site this month through posts published by HireSocial. It also displays the total number of followers you’re reaching, adding up followers across all connected profiles, including recruiters and employees.

A subtle chart graphic in the footer reinforces that this area tracks key metrics.

Clicking this section will take you to the main Publishing page where you can view insightful metrics, like top profiles, total posts, top post, and more.

Putting It All Together:

  • The Posts section helps you keep your content flow steady, ensuring you have approved posts ready and available to keep your social media presence active.
  • The Publishing section shows how many profiles are connected, how many posts are publishing this week, and which platforms you’re connected to. It lets you know when your one of your company pages has lost connection so your account is always in good health.
  • The Performance section gives you a snapshot into how well your posts are performing and the audience you’re reaching, empowering you to make data-driven decisions.

The three sections of your homepage work together to streamline your social media publishing and performance tracking, helping you maintain a consistent and impactful presence across platforms from one handy launching point.
